Rodney Miller and Max Newman are renowned fixtures in the traditional New England and American contra dance music scenes. Miller is a legendary fiddler and National Heritage Fellow, while Newman is a highly acclaimed guitarist and mandolin player. They frequently perform together as part of the celebrated folk trio/supergroup Stringrays.
The Folk School features some of the finest regional and national acts performing eclectic roots music. We’ll have standard seating available, first come first serve. A donation of $5-15 per adult is suggested, but all are welcome regardless of contribution. Folk School Students and Staff are not asked to donate.
